United States: Annual Conference Committees, by State

To find your annual conference disability ministry website, check this list which is organized alphabetically by state. We strive to make these lists as accurate and complete as possible. If you find any inaccuracies, or wish to suggest an addition, please contact us.

Central Conferences (Worldwide)

According to the UMC website, "Outside the U.S., annual conferences are organized in seven central conferences. The central conferences are composed of equal numbers of lay and clergy members. They connect annual conferences for common ministry, adapt regulations as the conditions in the respective regions may require, and elect bishops (Book of Discipline, ¶ 31) and fix their tenure." As the Disability Ministries Committee, we strive to make these lists as accurate and complete as possible. If you find any inaccuracies, or wish to suggest an addition, please contact us.

Did you know ... ?

The UMC breaks up the United States annual conferences into geographic regions called Jurisdictions.  Then those regions are divided into episcopal areas where a bishop lives in and presides over the work of one or more annual conferences.
